The Story
SYNOPSIS
What would you do if your vulnerability became a spectacle? What does it mean to be human, when everything around you keeps reducing you to less?There is a curse going on that no one seems to understand. In the quest of trying to recognize its effects, something more important arises; a bond beyond the burden it brings. What if this curse is not just something to endure, but something to question, and maybe even redefine?Blending absurdity with sincerity, The Coarse curse is a meta, heartfelt deconstruction of erotic comics, following three characters as they confront a unique existential crisis.EPISODE 1

FIYO
Programmer and cosplayer. Perfect interests for anyone who'd want to avoid being themselves.An overly cautious but ultimately caring soul. A tentative spirit with a big heart, held back by his indecisive mind and the fear of falling comforts.
LEAH
Ambitious academic. Not knowing that none of the knowledge in the world will ever replicate the experiences she needs.Known to be naive; often adapts to whatever awaits her. Plagued by unfinished journeys, too clouded by false goals and lofty dreams.
AGORO
Hobbyist photographer. Surrounds herself with people, but none of them are ever her friends.Fallen to low standards and low solace. A spirit unbroken where most wouldn't last; a wave of fervor that hasn't found its proper home.

After the unfortunate passing of her husband, she scarcely scrapes by as a soothing massage therapist, striving to secure the serene life she’s always sought for her children: a life free from strife and squalor.
XENNIE
Currently in college, quietly keeping to herself, Xennie cherishes her close-knit circle of friends and family. She also works small part-time jobs to help with her family's financial affairs.
C. MITERA
After a tumultuous past, Mitera transformed her tough trajectory; now thriving in a relatively tranquil career as a high school teacher. With wisdom and debatable warmth, she seeks to steer students away from similar struggles.

My Status
I might've been overworking myself too much. I really want to get to the next parts fast and not have any significant gaps in-between since we're in the high stake scenes now.This does run the risk of me not being well enough to properly assess what I'm doing right now so I have to take it slower. Much to my annoyance.I have to prioritize each part being perfect than out in a timely matter -- otherwise I'll regret rushing something when I could've easily taken more time with it.

How is the story written?
The main episodes are generally written in full, except for select scenes which are intentionally left unwritten until the page creation stage. The process begins with a rough outline: a roadmap of key events that need to happen. From there, the narrative is constructed scene by scene, allowing it to unfold in a way that feels organic and true to the characters.Some scenes are deliberately left blank. These are developed during the actual page-making process, lending the work a more improvised, natural rhythm, almost like ad-libbing, rather than adhering rigidly to a prewritten script. Each major episode is also written with the mindset that it could potentially be the last. This ensures that if the story ever needs to conclude, whether due to creative satisfaction or a lack of motivation, it can do so cleanly, without feeling incomplete.Interludes, by contrast, function more like narrative buffers. They allow time to develop the larger episodes without halting the overall release schedule. These interludes are written in tandem with the episode they transition into. While the writing process behind them may be more flexible and given less structural focus, they still carry equal narrative weight. In fact, their looser format often allows for a more slice-of-life tone, offering a deeper look into the characters’ daily experiences without the constraints of driving the plot forward.
